Meet Lucía Fernández, The Founder
A professional pianist and educator, Ms.Fernández knows what it takes for adults to learn the piano fluently. Whether you are a total beginner or have previous musical experience, she will be able to meet you at your current level and implement strategies from her proprietary adult learning program, Fermata.
She earned two degrees in piano performance from Missouri Western State University, one in piano pedagogy, and one in performance. She has over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages.

Piano Lessons For Locals and Expats in Saudi Arabia
The Fermata program is available in both English and Spanish. We will meet online, and you’ll have access to your instructor Monday-Friday via WhatsApp. Whether you stay local or travel often, we can still maintain your progress through regular meetings and strategy sessions. Whether you live in Khobar, do business in Dammam, or often travel to Riyadh, we can maintain your process and help you reach incredible goals on the piano.
About the Fermata Program
Firstly, you will learn everything you need in your weekly lesson. You won’t be tasked with reading additional material or studying new concepts. In your lesson, you will receive detailed instruction, and you will sign off with exact steps to follow that will let you attain surprisingly challenging goals each week in very little time.You will even have access to your instructor throughout the week via WhatsApp - if you get stuck during your short practice sessions, simply send us a note or video.
Our unique methodology is sequenced in a way that allows you to build new concepts upon each other, and you’ll never have trouble piecing new lesson material together into a holistic concept.
The Fermata program is rooted in classical piano principles, and you will learn to read musical notation and perform it on the keyboard fluently, as if it were another language. With this in mind, you’ll be able to start learning your goal pieces 3X faster than if you were using a traditional piano method.
