Lucía Fernández, the founder and head teacher at PIANOFORTE Boutique Piano Studio, works with adults in Bayamon and around the world. Her adult piano lesson program maximizes results, allows you to make consistent progress without homework, and provides a structured curriculum. Furthermore, adult students have ongoing WhatsApp support outside of their lesson times. Students may participate in semi-annual virtual recitals in small groups, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet other pianists from around the world. This program is ideal for both beginning and experienced adult pianists who are highly motivated to play the piano at a high level.
Beginner and Intermediate Piano Lessons
Lucía Fernández and the teachers at our piano school have degrees in piano and years of teaching experience, so they are equally qualified to help beginners and advanced pianists alike. If you are brand new to music, that’s perfectly fine - we do not have auditions, and we have a structured and logical curriculum that won’t move any faster than you want it to. We will build on note reading, ear training, and basic technique, and layer on new concepts and skills as you improve. Our intermediate pianists start to play progressively more challenging piano music, and they enjoy bridging the gap into “advanced” piano playing.

Whether you have a talented teenager, or you’re an adult with significant playing experience, we would be happy to take your playing to the next level. We can prepare you for recitals, auditions, college music degrees, or collaborative piano gigs, and we are happy to work with you on choosing repertoire that you’ll love and find challenging.
